STRONG 80S-Ni1 is a low alloy steel wire designed for welding low alloy steels with 1% Ni content. This is a fine grained welding wire for high impact at low temperature applications (-45°C). Nickel content increases atmospheric weathering resistance and improves the balance between weld metal and base metal.
STRONG 80S-Ni1 is suitable for welding fine grained and Nickel alloy steels. Typical applications include storage tanks for liquefied gases, offshore platforms, pressure vessels, and pipelines.
